My grown kids still remember use many of the Bible memory verses we learned through a fun series called F.T. and the Halo Express. It was stories and Bible verses set to music. My favorite from that series was Joshua 1:9 – “Have I not commanded your family? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or perhaps dismayed, for your LORD your God is with you wherever you choose to go.” (NASB) I can still sing that verse, and say it, just from hearing that song many times with my kids. Now my grandkids and I are experiencing the same series and learning many Bible memory verses that way as actually.
Interpret any passage on the light belonging to the Bible teaching generally. The Bible is essentially one revelation, giving one message. It doesn’t stop here contradict themselves. Where there are apparent contradictions, we compare scripture with scripture and understand. Read the Bible extensively, study regularly, study parallel passages, note similarities and differences and watch how each affects madness. Interpret the obscure passages of what is clear and obvious.
The Design. The order and the timing consumers and periods. Most people have no idea the length of time passed between Adam and Noah or between Noah and Abraham. Using a period makes it visual. A relatively long time between Adam and Moses (about 2500 years), some days from Moses to Solomon (about 500 years) nicely between period from Solomon to Christ (about one thousand years).
